1. About These Terms
These Terms of Service govern your use of synergyscience.au and any purchases you make through it. By browsing our website, creating an account, or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. Please read them before purchasing.
Synergy Science is operated by Tess Petrie, based in Queensland, Australia. You can reach us at info@synergyscience.au.
2. Our Products
Synergy Science sells Hair Formula, an oral hair health supplement. Hair Formula is a listed medicine on the Australian Register of Therapeutic Goods (ARTG No. 521595) and is manufactured and sold in compliance with the Therapeutic Goods Act 1989 (Cth).
Our product is a complementary medicine and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or medical condition. Please read the product label in full before use and follow the directions for use. If you have a pre-existing medical condition or are taking medication, speak with your healthcare professional before use.

3. Placing an Order
By placing an order, you are making an offer to purchase at the listed price. A binding agreement is formed when we confirm your order and process your payment. We reserve the right to decline any order at our discretion.
All prices are in Australian dollars and include GST. Pricing may change without notice; the price that applies is the one displayed at checkout.
Payment
We accept payment via Shopify Payments (credit and debit card), PayPal, and Afterpay. Payments are processed securely by our payment providers. By using Afterpay or any buy-now-pay-later service, you agree to that provider's terms and conditions in addition to ours.
Order Errors
If you need to change or cancel an order, please contact us at info@synergyscience.au as soon as possible. We cannot guarantee changes once an order has been prepared for dispatch.
4. Subscriptions
We offer a subscription option for Hair Formula, managed through a third party subscription platform. When you subscribe, you authorise recurring payments at your selected frequency until you cancel.
Cancellation
You can cancel your subscription at any time through your customer account or by contacting us at info@synergyscience.au. To avoid being charged for your next order, cancellations must be made at least 48 hours before your next scheduled billing date.
Cancellations received within 48 hours of a scheduled billing date may result in that order being processed and dispatched. Our standard returns policy applies in that case.
5. Returns and Refunds
Your Consumer Rights
Our products come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure, and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. These rights apply regardless of whether product packaging has been opened.
Change of Mind
Because Hair Formula is an ingestible health product, we are unable to accept change-of-mind returns on opened or unsealed products. If you change your mind and the product is unopened with the seal intact, please contact us at info@synergyscience.au within 7 days of receiving your order. Return shipping for change-of-mind returns is at your expense.
Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Products
If your product arrives damaged, faulty, or different from what you ordered, please contact us at info@synergyscience.au within 7 days with your order number and a description or photo of the issue. We will arrange a replacement or refund at no cost to you.
Refund Processing
Approved refunds are processed to your original payment method within 5 to 10 business days.
6. Customer Accounts
You may create a customer account to manage your subscription, view orders, and update your details. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account.
You must be 18 years of age or older to create an account and purchase our products. Please notify us at info@synergyscience.au if you believe your account has been accessed without your authorisation.
7. Promotions and Discount Codes
Promotional offers and discount codes are subject to the terms stated at the time of the offer. Unless otherwise specified:
- One discount code may be used per order
- Codes cannot be combined with other offers
- Codes have no cash value and cannot be redeemed for cash
- We may withdraw or modify a promotion at any time
8. Intellectual Property
All website content, including text, images, branding, logos, and product names, belongs to Synergy Science and is protected under Australian intellectual property law. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use our content without written permission.
9. Reviews and Testimonials
By submitting a review or testimonial, you grant us a non-exclusive licence to publish and use that content in our marketing. We reserve the right to decline or remove any review that is false, misleading, or defamatory.
In accordance with TGA advertising requirements, we only publish testimonials that are genuine, verified, and consistent with the accepted uses of our product.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim arising from the use of our website or products is limited to the purchase price of the relevant product. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss or damage.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded.
11. Website Use
You agree to use our website for lawful purposes only. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of our website at any time without notice and are not liable for any resulting inconvenience or loss.
12. Privacy
We handle your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy, available at synergyscience.au/privacy. By using our website, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described in that policy.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland, without affecting your rights under Australian Consumer Law.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. The current version will always be available on this page with a revised date. Continued use of our website after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance. Subscription customers will be notified by email of any material changes before they take effect.
